MAKE it a great day! Wherever you are on your journey–whether you are trying to get ‘in shape’, release body fat, eat healthier, explore the raw foods lifestyle–to reach your goals you must first start with loving yourself as you are. Accept who you are now and take baby steps to get where you want to be. The great thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. So take it one day at a time.
Einstein said that ‘you cannot solve a problem by using the same level of thinking that created it’. You must stretch your inner self to grow into the person you want to be. Your outer world will reflect your inner progress on self-development.
So, just for today, be defiant! Ruffle some feathers. Look in the mirror and tell yourself you love you, and that you will support you on your journey. Our minds are often are worst enemies and harshest critics. Thoughts become things. Choose positive ones and expect great things.

I don’t know where all this is coming from. I am so happy with the events of the past few days that I just want to share positive experiences and make the world a happier place.
Michael and I had a long, great back, bicep and ab workout tonight.
- Bodyweight & assisted pullups on assist machine, 4 sets to failure, two hand grips
- Seated cable rows, 4 sets, increasing weights
- Reverse-grip Hammer Pulldowns–I was proud, I got 70 on each arm for 5 reps twice tonight. The best so far on this machine.
- Dumbbell Rows, 50 lb bells, 3 sets of 8 reps
- Rear Delt Flyes, 40 lbs, 3 sets of 12, 12, & 10 reps
- Bicep curl machine, 3 sets
- Hammer curls with cable & rope attachment
- Abs: superset of medicine ball crunches on large exercise ball, with 60-second planks–3 cycles
- Ab crunch machine, 3 sets
Our post-workout smoothie was exceptionally awesome–banana, pear, Sun Warrior protein, cinnamon, parsley & romaine lettuce—Yum!
