Thank you so much. She is MUCH improved in her diet, but still old habits and things we were taught, especially someone that age, are hard to break through. For example, my mother was big into Home Economics in high school. She still goes by what she was taught back in the 1950's and it is sometimes impossible to convince her otherwise. Literally, she will say things like "That apple pie is healthy. It has apples in it!"......and be proud of herself for making a 'healthy' food. And people of that generation were taught that doctors are infallible gods, and they worship them as such. But slowly over the past 3 years, she has really improved, eats many more vegetables and fruits, and cut way back on the meat, processed foods and sweets. And my father has too, which is a real blessing as well.

I work on them as much as I can, but it's delicate. Food is so emotional and I can really upset them if I don't proceed very carefully--especially since they raise beef cattle and that is their livelihood. Nobody likes their livelihood threatened. I usually just bring facts and studies printed out, from OTHER people, because you know as well as I do, people won't listen to their friends and family, but some faceless 'expert' knows everything! Those seem to really get through to them.

Thank you again for your kind comments. Blessings to you and your family!
