It’s Saturday! That means my rear end is glued to the chaise lounge in front of our big screen TV! Right now, the Tennessee Vols (my husband’s favorite team) is playing the Florida Gators, and so far in the first quarter holding their own against the mighty Gators. My Georgia Bulldogs are [...]

I am so excited. I sent in my progress pictures this weekend to my Bombshell Coach, Shannon, and nervously awaited the verdict. I felt like I have given 110%, despite being hampered by my bad knees (more on those in a minute), but I was still concerned whether she thought I had made progress along [...]

I was so tired the other night, I just briefly hit the highlights and went to bed. Then my beloved cat Jukebox went ballistic on me at 4am, and was absolutely relentless in trying to get me up to feed him. He wasn’t happy with the fish that Michael had fed him the night before. [...]

Well the crazy pre-contest week diet has begun. I am still a bit uncertain about what to do exactly, but I am feeling better about it. I have been studying standard contest diets and just figuring out how to substitute raw foods in the protocol to achieve the same results. Thank GOD for Sun Warrior [...]

I worked shoulders so hard tonight that it was hard to lift my arms to make our post workout green smoothies! I am so proud of my dear husband. He has gotten so motivated and is really working out hard. And he is pushing me even harder, which is great! It seems to have finally [...]

Hi Everybody!
I just got back in from visiting my parents in Georgia today, amid the worst winter storm we have seen here in balmy South Carolina in a long time. My mother had to have a preventive measure done to help protect her heart. She had an ICD installed, which is a combo defibrillator/pacemaker. As [...]

Wow, my back is sore from the workout last night. YES!! Grow, lats, grow! I love being ‘good’ sore. You know, the sore where you can really tell that you accomplished something with your workout.
It’s hard for me to get sore now, because my antioxidant intake is so high that my recovery is immediate and [...]
